Cutting Edge Design

Portfolio

Greater London Authority (GLA)

The GLA is a strategic citywide government for London.

In 2007, Cutting Edge Design was approached by David Morris to devise a marketing campaign and materials for their British Sign Language (BSL) London Recognition Day event within a 48-hour turnaround time. Previous events had a low audience turnout. GLA wanted to engage as many local Deaf people as possible.

With the information to hand, we created a poster and flyer aimed at the Deaf Community. We advised the client to visit Deaf Clubs and venues around London to ensure the message filtered through to the different parts of the community.

We created a poster and flyer that attracted over 400 people to the event compared to 30 people the previous year. The event was so popular that the schedule was changed to enable the 150 school children that attended to meet each other before the adults started enjoying the event. The GLA were delighted with the positive response to our work.

Projects we have created with GLA;

•    Poster and postcard flyer

•    Marketing campaign

Testimonial

“Cutting Edge Design was given two days notice develop a concept and design for the BSL Day Recognition to be held at the GLA. They worked with me to create a brief that was clear and informative.

Within a day the Poster and Flyer was designed, information was sourced and project managed by Cutting Edge Design. Their client care was excellent and helpful. Due to the short deadlines they liased with our Design Team and printers ensuring the delivery was on time and without glitches. I was very impressed with their professionalism and high quality of service.

I would highly recommend them for their natural ability for visual communication, knowledge and expertise in Socially Responsible Design, high quality of work and most important their client care and commitment.

I look forward to working with Cutting Edge Design on many more projects in the near future.”
